Three Stars of the Week (Sept 23-30)

This week's Three Stars of the Week feature a trio of goaltenders who showcased their skills in key performances.

1st Star: Colten Ellis (St. Louis Blues) – Ellis had an impressive showing in two NHL preseason games, stopping all 23 shots he faced, including an overtime victory. His solid performances have continued to earn the Blues' trust, leading to a new contract in the offseason. Ellis has now been assigned to the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds, where he'll look to build on his preseason success.

2nd Star: Will Cole (Valley Wildcats) – The 16-year-old netminder was perfect this week, stopping all 24 shots he faced to secure his first career Junior A shutout. Cole's strong start to the season has quickly turned heads as he continues to shine in his debut season.

3rd Star: Dylan Benautio (Dartmouth Steele Subaru) – Benautio was a wall for the Subarus, turning aside all 31 shots from the Mustangs to earn his first U18 shutout. His stellar play helped keep the opposition at bay in a tight game.
